What you’ll be doing…
- Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with Hiring Managers across multiple UK sites to develop location-specific hiring plans, providing expert advice on staffing needs and person-centred decision-making.
- End-to-End Recruitment: Lead the full lifecycle - from creative sourcing (headhunting, events, and referrals) and screening to conducting interviews and managing offers for permanent, fixed-term, and casual roles.
- Candidate Experience & Branding: Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring a "frustration-free" journey for every applicant. You’ll lead employer branding initiatives and host engaging recruitment events and assessment centres.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain our ATS (PinPoint) with high levels of rigour, ensuring all administration is compliant, efficient, and seamlessly integrated with our Onboarding team.
- Problem Solving & Growth: Identify root causes for recruitment challenges, resolve escalations swiftly, and lead ad-hoc projects that drive the evolution of the Talent Acquisition function.
- Mentorship & Training: Support and guide our Talent Assistant while delivering training to stakeholders to upskill the business on best-practice recruitment and selection.
You should have…
- Proven experience as a skilled recruiter, using a variety of approaches to source talent.
- Target driven with bags of motivation to not just reach but exceed your targets.
- Strong understanding of all selection methods and techniques.
- Proficiency in using social media and job boards.
- Previous knowledge working with an Application Tracking System (ATS), if you have used PinPoint that’s a bonus!
- Experience within the Early Years or Education sector (or related) would be an advantage.
- Excellent business partnering skills (communication, relationship and stakeholder management).
- CIPD or CertRP qualification would be a nice plus.
