As a Room Manager at N Family Club, you’ll be the inspiring leader of your playroom, championing a culture where curiosity, creativity, and confidence flourish. You’ll manage a passionate team, oversee the smooth running of your room, and ensure the N Curriculum is delivered to the highest standard. In this key leadership role, you’ll shape the experiences of both children and team, while growing your own career through industry-leading training, coaching, and resources.
What you’ll be doing…
- Lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional early years education through the play-based N Curriculum
- Manage daily routines smoothly – from mealtimes to naptimes, ensuring all children’s needs are met
- Oversee planning, observations, and assessments, ensuring development-focused activity plans for every child
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with children, families, and your team
- Ensure your room is a safe, clean, and engaging environment that reflects our high standards
- Embed and uphold all policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices in daily operations
- Motivate, coach, and support your team, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere
- Contribute to the wider nursery management team, sharing ideas and driving continuous improvement
Our Room Managers should have…
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years environment
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above (full & relevant)
- Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and willingness to maintain certification
- Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to refresh regularly)
- Passion for early years education and commitment to raising standards
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to manage a team effectively and maintain high-quality provision
