Description
Lead the Talent Strategy Powering One of the UK’s Fastest-Growing Brands
At N Family Club, we’re on a mission to reimagine early years education – blending inspiring learning with exceptional careers. As we scale rapidly across the UK, we’re searching for a future-focused, people-first Head of Talent to shape the journey of every team member, from first interaction to lasting career growth.
This is a senior, high-impact role at the heart of our people strategy — leading both Talent Acquisition and Talent Development, while owning our in-house learning function, The N Academy.
Reporting to the COO and working closely with our Head of People Operations, you’ll bring vision, structure and heart to how we attract, develop, and grow exceptional talent across our nurseries and central teams.
What you’ll own

  • End-to-end Talent Strategy – Align hiring, development and career growth with our business goals and values.
  • Recruitment Leadership – Lead all hiring (nursery, support office and exec), with a strategic focus on attracting outstanding Nursery Managers.
  • Early Careers & Future Talent – Grow our apprentice, graduate and career-changer programmes into best-in-class pipelines.
  • Internal Mobility & Succession – Build structured, transparent career paths and succession plans that support long-term growth.
  • Learning & Development – Oversee the N Academy, championing impactful, inclusive and scalable development.
  • Leadership Development – Drive internal capability through coaching, mentoring and tailored growth programmes.
  • Workforce Innovation – Scale our flexible staffing and resourcing model to meet changing operational needs.
  • Employer Brand & EVP – Partner with Marketing to elevate our employer brand and bring our values to life in every interaction.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven leadership across both Talent Acquisition and Talent Development, ideally in high-growth, multi-site settings (e.g. education, healthcare, retail, hospitality).
  • Strong experience designing joined-up strategies across the full talent lifecycle.
  • A track record of building impactful early careers programmes and scaling internal agency or flexi-workforce models.
  • Strategic, commercial and innovative — with a human-first mindset.
  • Experience using data and technology to drive performance and scale effectively.
  • A passion for inclusion, learning and creating workplaces where people belong and thrive.

You’ll be joining a purpose-led business with bold ambitions — not only for children’s education, but for what a modern, values-driven employer can look like.
At N, you’ll help shape the experience of 2,000+ team members (and growing), drive meaningful change, and work alongside a leadership team who deeply values people as the engine of growth.
We’re building something special — and this is your chance to play a leading role in making it happen.
