As a Room Manager at N Family youâll lead an exceptional team of educators in one of our nursery family rooms. Youâll inspire passion, innovative teaching, and provide the best care for each child while driving our Wildly Important Goals forward, keeping us improving, and helping us achieve our vision of becoming the most loved earlyâyears education group in the UK.
Your key responsibilities:
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive as a team.
- Lead our âlearning through playâ ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair.
- Be a role model for outstanding care and education, inspiring your team to bring their best every day.
- Champion continuous improvement, keeping practice fresh, creative, Outstandingly Outstanding.
- Shape the daily routine of your room, ensuring smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes.
- Support your team to plan, observe, and deliver highâquality learning experiences tailored to every child.
- Coach, guide, and motivate your team through regular feedback and professional development.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and keep them involved in their childrenâs learning.
- Embed and roleâmodel our safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing standards across your room.
Our Room Managers should have:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, or early years educator).
- For Baby Room Managers, you will need previous experience working with children under 2.
- Experience in leading and coaching a team.
- A background in leading consistent and exceptional customer service.
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
- Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a commitment to remain compliant.
- Relevant safeguarding/child protection training and be willing to update that training regularly.
- A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children.
- A positive, glassâhalfâfull outlook.
- Bags of drive and motivation with a âmake it happenâ attitude!
- A solid decisionâmaker with the ability to support and achieve our WIGs (Wildly Important Goals).
