What you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all nursery areas, including playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Carrying out daily cleaning routines, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising.
- Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies and notifying management when orders are needed.
- Supporting with laundry and linen changes as required.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and infection control standards.
- Helping keep our nursery environments warm, tidy, and welcoming.
- Working closely with the wider team to uphold our high cleanliness standards.
- Following all relevant policies and procedures for safeguarding and safety.
Our Housekeepers should have:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping, cleaning, or facilities role.
- A proactive and reliable approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Understanding of basic health & safety and COSHH guidelines (training provided if needed).
- A warm, friendly attitude and team spirit – you’ll be a key part of the nursery community.
- A willingness to complete any necessary training.
