Educator – Lunch Cover
We’re looking for a dedicated Early Years Educator to support a 20‑hour week (Monday to Friday, 11:00 am–3:00 pm) at our 60‑place nursery in Cobham, Surrey.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire learning through the play‑based N Curriculum
- Support smooth daily routines – from mealtimes to naptimes
- Create and implement development‑focused activity plans
- Carry out observations, assessments and planning for key children
- Build strong, trusted relationships with children and families
- Ensure the classroom is safe, clean and engaging at all times
- Embed all policies and procedures into daily practice
- Be a positive role model – collaborate, motivate and share ideas
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with children in an early years environment
- Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (full & relevant)
- Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and willingness to train
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to refresh)
- Passion for education and impact on children’s lives
- Team player with a can‑do attitude and positive mindset
- Confident communicator with a love for customer service
