Waiter / Runner, required for our client, a property located in the Addington / Croydon area. Live in is available on site. As Waiter / Runner, you will assist staff members and Management, with food and beverage service to customers, and also with the carrying of food and beverage trays to and from the restaurant and function rooms during service times. For the opportunity of Waiter / Runner duties: * No previous experience is necessary as a runner. * We are looking for a candidate who is willing and keen to assist in the service times. * You will be aiding the waiting staff to carry trays to and from service areas. * You will also assist with moving furniture such as tables and chairs for the setting up and breaking down of the restaurant and function rooms over a large area. * This role will require that you work on a weekly rota basis to include week-ends. The schedule is Wednesday to Sunday inclusive. * Casual or part-time can be considered for applicants living in the local area for evening and week-end work. * Opportunities to progress to a Waiter role should you be starting at the runner level. The salary for Waiter / Runner is given as £25,000 per annum / plus a share of the service charge / tips on top which will vary each month. Live in is available if required. Transport will be needed due to location if you wish to commute to work in the local area and also due to shift work. This property plans to be closed on a Monday and Tuesday; therefore, your work schedule will be Wednesday to Sunday inclusive. Please send an up to date copy of your Curriculum Vitae. N.E.
