Sous Chef required to join an established kitchen team at a property in the Wrexham area. The benefits of this role include some straight shifts and a 40 hour week. As Sous Chef, key attributes / experience required are: * Previous Sous Chef or an experienced Junior Sous / Senior Chef de Partie, looking for the next step up and career progression. * Chef experience ideally from within a hotel or similar. * Candidates require a good all-round background to include restaurant service and experience of catering for conference and banqueting also. * You will assist the Head Chef with the kitchen team management and have a passion for training, motivation and development of the kitchen brigade, which are very important factors. * A candidate who is able to cover for the Head Chef on days off / holidays, to manage the kitchen and team to ensure all runs smoothly to the required standard to meet client expectations. * Good organisation, kitchen management, stock control and food hygiene control are essential. Some benefits of the Sous Chef role include: * Working 5 days over 7, some straight shifts and some splits – according to the business * A 40 hour week * Company uniform * Parking on site * Other company benefits Salary for this role of the Sous Chef is given as £ competitive / 40 hour week / additional Company benefits.
