Part time Administrator (25 to 30 hours a week), required for a prestigious boutique property in the Rye area, East Sussex. As Administrator, you will be working predominantly within the Sales and Events department at this property, supporting the Sales & Events Manager.

For the vacancy of Administrator, duties will include:

  • General administration / computer
  • Assisting the Sales & Events Manager with planning timelines, menu selections, accommodation – rooming lists, and supplier coordination
  • Assist to prepare accurate function sheets and ensure all client requirements are documented and communicated to the operations team
  • Some support on a day to ensure particular elements of an event / wedding go as planned
  • Support if required, in preparing proposals, quotations, and contracts

Hours of work are daytime, and this can be over 4 or 5 days a week (25 to 30 hours a week). The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and events / weddings, PMS ‘Opera’ experience (ideally). Within the role as Administrator, flexibility is key also as in the quiet periods, with no weddings or events, you will assist with general admin duties.

Salary for the role of Administrator is given as, from the national minimum wage - £12.71 / hr (21 years old and over).

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
