We are seeking an experienced Sales Co-ordinator to join the sales team at a hotel located outside Reigate, Surrey, which offers wedding and conference facilities. You will play a key and strategic role within the business and support the hotel’s proactive sales activities along with managing client enquiries, coordinating bookings, and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event organizers.

  • The position of Sales Co-ordinator is offered on a fixed term contract for up to 15 months.
  • Pay: from £30,000+ per annum plus an incentive bonus scheme.
  • Expected hours: 40 per week on site.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Co-ordinator:

Sales:
  • Pro-actively source new corporate business (transient/groups/residentials) to impact mid-week and total revenue conversion.
  • Pro-actively research and identify opportunities with leisure tour operators and specialist groups to impact mid-week occupancy.
  • Ensure all new contacts are entered into PMS and database of commercial contacts is kept up to date.
  • Carry out regular follow-up calls/emails to identify contacts to build relationships, identify leads and revenue opportunities whilst promoting the hotel’s facilities and services.
Marketing:
  • Generate organic posts on social media platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn to capture local market engagement and foster brand awareness and positioning to target audiences.
  • Research and identify new opportunities to increase exposure for the hotel’s facilities and services to regional and national partners (across all segments) including third-party platforms.
  • Support with the development and upload of corporate, agency, and wedding databases into Revinate CRM.
  • Maintain photo library up to date and support Social Media consultant and Marketing manager for the delivery of digital and website updates.
Team support:
  • Support the sales and events team with the organisation of networking events, participation in trade and wedding shows, including coordination of marketing materials, appointments, and follow-ups.
  • Support the team with the coordination of virtual and face-to-face on- and off-site presentations to corporate and agency contacts.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports relating to revenue tracking and conversion.
  • Coordinate with Chef the provision of menus for all public events, ensuring printed and digital documents respect brand guidelines.

The salary for the role of Sales Co-ordinator is from £30,000+ per annum basic plus an incentive bonus scheme following the probation period. Live out role. Transport will be required due to location and shift work.
