My client is looking for a TEMPORARY front of house Receptionist, to join a hotel in the Bromley area. Possible live-in accommodation for this temporary role. IMMEDIATE START.

The purpose of the role as a Receptionist is to provide a friendly, hospitable and efficient service, ensuring that excellent customer service is provided at all times, to ensure a lasting impression on all guests. Shift work is involved to include early/late cover.

As a Receptionist, the ideal candidate will have some experience of using ‘Guestline’ PMS. An example of duties consists of:

  • Being in a customer-facing role, being an engaging person, with a friendly manner and who thrives in a busy environment
  • Guest check-in and check-out
  • Answering guests' queries before they arrive and when they arrive
  • Greeting walk-in potential customers for bedrooms and the bar/restaurant
  • Answering phones and responding to emails quickly and efficiently
  • Taking bookings on the phone and via computer, upselling to maximise sales
  • Complaint handling in a calm manner and addressing these if you can or getting assistance from the manager on duty
  • Seeking a team player, who can and will be happy to assist wherever needed at times and also be able to work on your own at times

The salary for the role of Receptionist is given as from £12.21 per hour. There is the possibility of live-in accommodation with this TEMPORARY role.
