Assistant Lounge Manager required for our client, a prestigious hotel located in the Eastbourne area.

As Assistant Lounge Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the shift, including serving Afternoon Tea and overseeing Room Service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the absence of the Lounge Manager
  • Lead and motivate the team to ensure all daily duties are carried out
  • Greet guests, manage the seating plan, and take orders in the lounge and room service
  • Conduct team briefings and organize the team for daily operations
  • Assist in training team members
  • Liaise with the kitchen and other departments to ensure effective communication
  • Provide the highest standard of service for guests
  • This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week over five days, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, requiring flexibility
