2nd Chef required for a property in Bishop’s Stortford, which offers a BBQ restaurant and smokehouse. They smoke and BBQ meats in American traditional smokers and Argentinian charcoal grill.

As a 2nd Chef, you will be reporting to and assisting the Head Chef in the food preparation and kitchen operations. If you have previous kitchen experience or a passion for cooking and love true good food and BBQ, we would love to hear from you.

Looking for a candidate that is enthusiastic and a team player, you will be hands on with good kitchen knowledge to include health and safety, cost control, food hygiene adherence, etc.

The Restaurant is closed Mondays (sometimes on a Tuesday according to the business season). The hours of the business operate mostly from the early evening weekdays and a Saturday and from lunchtime on a Sunday.

The salary for this role is given as £29,741.40 for a 45 hour week available, plus some tronc.
