What You’ll Do
- Lead hazard identification workshops (e.g. HAZOP).
- Develop structured safety case arguments using Claims/Arguments/Evidence (C/A/E) techniques.
- Produce and manage safety documentation across all stages of the plant lifecycle.
- Liaise with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary safety teams to develop robust and coherent safety cases.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and project teams.
- Identify and contribute to business development opportunities.
- Support regulatory interactions and client engagement activities.
Your Background
- Extensive experience in nuclear safety case development and assessment techniques (DBA, LOPA, PSA, ALARP, fault and consequence analysis).
- A relevant degree (e.g. Physics, Mechanical/Chemical/Control/Electrical Engineering).
- In‑depth knowledge of UK nuclear safety regulations and industry standards.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
- Strong interpersonal, client‑facing, and written communication skills.
- Eligibility for security clearance due to the nature of the work.
