This role is part of a small-scale laboratory testing and calibration company. You will be a key individual driving change to processes and ensuring that quality, health and safety standards are not just maintained but improved.
What You’ll Do
- Full ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) and managing/developing UKAS accredited calibration and testing activities.
- Lead UKAS audits and assessments.
- Monitor Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental performance.
- Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA).
- Deliver training and guidance.
Your Background
- Experience of Quality Management within ISO 17025 and ISO 9001.
- Experience working closely with operational teams ensuring quality system practicality and value addition.
- Supporting the business goals while maintaining compliance.
- Managed and developed UKAS accredited systems for calibration and testing.
- Regulatory knowledge, able to ensure customer, statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Ongoing working knowledge of standards, certifications, and accreditation.
- Experience engaging with auditors.
