JOB PURPOSE: To be responsible for producing compelling and persuasive content for PQQ and Tender responses, managing the end-to-end bid process for both new business and retention opportunities, as well as supporting the development of bid strategies. The role will involve collaboration with colleagues across various departments and adhering to robust quality assurance procedures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bid Production
- Coordinate and manage bids from when it enters the bid process until submission to the Customer.
- Produce high quality written responses to formal tender enquiries in an efficient, timely and professional manner.
- Work with the Sales Team to develop win themes for each opportunity and ensure this is conveyed clearly in the proposal and bid submissions.
- Produce bespoke responses for both Public and Private Sector Customers.
- Ensuring content is compliant with ND Brown branding and governance.
- Submit and upload PQQs, tenders and supporting documentation.
- Bid Coordination
- Collaborate with the Directors to review and action new requests which have been notified through the Tender Tracker.
- Arrange and lead kick off calls to establish win themes and agree bid timelines.
- Continuous Improvement
- Formulate and implement new ideas on how to further develop existing proposal materials.
- Create and manage the content of a Bid Library.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with all bid requirements and internal standards.
- Improve ND Browns ability to win work and support business growth.

- Demonstrate a can-do attitude to bidding and a strong desire to excel by creating high quality tender submissions.
- Provide a first point of contact for bid queries and provide day to day advice/assistance to Account Managers.
- Manage the process for obtaining/renewing accreditations to organisations such as Constructionline, Achilles, Allmi, Clocs etc.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience in Bid Management
- Educated to degree level (Preferable)
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Deadline driven with effective time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to think both strategically and analytically
- Excellent organization and influencing skills
- Ability to work remotely and use own initiative
- Broad experience of Commercial Vehicle Industry would be an advantage
