Location: Belfast, UK

Work mode: Hybrid, WFO 3 days/week

Work type: Contract 1 year with possible extension based on performance

Required Core Skills:

  • System Admin with key skills - Storage: Dell Powermax, Vplex, Isilon, eNAS, Cisco/Brocade SAN switch
  • Backup: EMC Data domain, Networker, ECS
  • Operating Systems: VMWare and LINUX/RedHat

Job Description:

  • Key tasks – Installations, Configurations, Migrations, Operational Support, patching, On-call support
  • Monitoring components of Storage systems including volumes, LUNs, disk and logs
  • Responsible for complete Incident, Change Management, Problem Management and Capacity planning
  • Plan and execute Disaster recovery
  • Backup management and health checks
  • Monitor backup jobs, schedules and relevant logs and ensure successful backups
  • Storage health checkup
  • Performance monitoring of the storage arrays through console
  • Controller mirroring configuration status from console
  • Troubleshooting
