Role Title: Senior Software Engineer
Possibility of remote work : Hybrid 2-3 weeks from office.
Contract Duration 6+ months (can be extended based upon performance. )
The client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to support development of services hosted on Public Cloud platforms.
You will leverage your expertise in Software Development, along with your Cloud Engineering experience across AWS/GCP, to design and implement resilient frontend client, backend services and cloud-native solutions.

Design, develop and maintain highly available, secure, and performant backend REST API services along with frontend client using Python, Golang, Docker and Cloud-Native services.
- Implement and manage database schema changes using Liquibase, ensuring alignment with compliance and audit standards.
- Collaborate closely with Architecture and Dev Ops teams to enhance, maintain and mature Product capabilities/features.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions for incidents and performance bottlenecks.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
- Comes from Software Engineering background with infrastructure experience.
- Proficient in Python, Golang and Postgre SQL.
- Experience with Liquibase or similar tools for database change management and version control.
- Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP, including cloud-native services, storage, IAM, and KMS.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices, including Infrastructure as Code (e. g., A successful track record of delivering complex projects and/or programmes, using appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success.
o Linux.
o Relational and No SQL databases.
o Building RESTful API Services.
o Enterprise logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks (e. g., Experience working within an Agile environment.
- Programming experience in following languages: Golang & Python.
- Good understanding of cryptography (authentication, data encryption).
- Good non-functional testing experience.
Experience working in financial services or other regulated environments.
- Experience of working with Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) and continuous testing tools.
- Automation scripting (using scripting languages such as Terraform, Ansible etc.).
