Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems within a cloud environment.
  • Optimize system performance and troubleshoot Linux OS, network, and application-level issues.
  • Ensure Linux system security and implement best practices to prevent threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Automate system administration using Ansible and shell scripting.
  • Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Support technology lifecycle planning and contribute to platform roadmaps.
  • Provide incident support and mentor team members as a technical expert.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and share knowledge within the team.

Required Skills

  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
  • Proficient in automation tools (Ansible, Bash, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with LVM, iSCSI, RAID, and file systems.
  • Knowledge of KVM or other virtualization platforms.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Good understanding of Linux networking and diagnostic tools.
  • Familiarity with GitLab, Jenkins, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and data center technologies.
  • Effective documentation and communication skills.
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
