Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Developer with a strong background in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and SQL development using PostgreSQL. This role requires hands-on expertise in data integration, transformation, and orchestration, with proven ability to work in fast-paced, Agile environments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in IICS and SQL and demonstrate excellent leadership and team management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data integration solutions using Informatica IICS.
- Write complex SQL queries and procedures using PostgreSQL for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks in ETL pipelines and databases.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Mentor and lead junior developers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and best practices within the team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote automation wherever possible.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IICS (Cloud Data Integration, Application Integration, etc.).
- Strong experience in SQL development using PostgreSQL – writing complex joins, subqueries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
- Proven experience working in Agile development environments, including CI/CD pipelines and iterative delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Strong team management or team leadership experience – with the ability to coordinate, motivate, and guide a technical team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) in relation to data services.
- Informatica certifications (Cloud or On-Premise) are a plus.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other Agile project management tools.
