We are seeking an experienced Service Manager (MIE) to support a critical AWS-focused environment within a fast-paced DevOps delivery landscape. This role is ideal for someone with strong service management expertise who can balance operational stability with ongoing delivery and DevOps maturity initiatives.

Key Experience Required:

  • Strong experience in Service Management disciplines across development and in-service lifecycle
  • Proven supplier and vendor management experience within commercial framework agreements
  • Experience managing incidents, problems, escalations, and operational remediation
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience working within DevOps environments across end-to-end delivery and support
  • Understanding of product delivery, risk management, architecture, environments, releases, and budgeting
  • Workday knowledge is highly desirable
  • Release management experience advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure delivery of day-to-day IT operational services from suppliers
  • Maintain stability and quality of supplier-delivered services
  • Lead and coordinate service-related issue resolution and remediation activities
  • Ensure IT suppliers meet contractual and operational commitments
  • Support operational governance, service improvements, and DevOps maturity initiatives
  • Potentially support release management activities
