Role Overview
You’ll be part of the Prestwick Program Team, making sure that products and processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory quality standards. This includes overseeing manufacturing governance, driving improvements, and being the quality interface between customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet quality control limits.
Maintain and review the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
Report and analyse project quality performance, set improvement targets, and implement solutions.
Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality issues and defect investigations.
Manage Material Review Board (MRB) activities and non-conformance handling.
Plan and oversee inspections (First Article, Last Article, delegated source).
Conduct supplier gap analysis and ensure APQP deliverables are met.
Act as the main quality focal point for all stakeholders.
Support training and development for quality staff.
Skills & Qualifications
Preferred: HNC or higher in Quality or Engineering.
Strong understanding of AS 9100, aerospace regulatory approvals, and certification requirements.
Familiarity with engineering drawings, aerospace manufacturing systems, and quality tools.
Competent in Smartsheet and Microsoft Office Suite.
