About the Role:
We are seeking a Specialty Insurance Domain Expert at the Consultant level with strong expertise across specialty lines such as Cyber, Marine, Energy, Professional Liability, and Excess & Surplus (E&S). The candidate will support underwriting, distribution, and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Specialty Insurance Domain: Analyze underwriting processes across specialty insurance lines. Support submission-to-bind lifecycle and policy lifecycle activities. Understand Broker and MGU distribution channels.
- Business Analysis: Gather, validate, and document business and functional requirements. Develop BRDs, use cases, and process flows. Perform gap analysis and recommend improvements.
- Process Optimization: Identify process improvement opportunities. Support digital underwriting and automation initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as liaison between business and IT teams. Facilitate workshops and requirement discussions.
- Testing & Implementation: Support UAT and validate outputs. Assist in deployment and post-go-live activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
- 5–8+ years in Specialty Insurance.
- Strong underwriting and distribution knowledge.
- SDLC and Agile experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to London Market.
- Experience with specialty platforms.
- Knowledge of submission lifecycle.
- Awareness of digital/AI trends.
