We’re looking for a skilled Sysplex Tester to join our team in Basildon, UK. This is a hybrid role, ideal for someone with strong IBM mainframe testing and Sysplex experience.
What you’ll do:
- Perform testing on IBM Sysplex and z/OS environments
- Design and execute test cases for system changes and enhancements
- Validate Parallel Sysplex, XCF, and Coupling Facility configurations
- Identify, log, and track defects through resolution
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in mainframe testing (z/OS, Sysplex)
- Knowledge of Parallel Sysplex architecture
- Strong understanding of test methodologies and defect management
- Familiarity with tools like SDSF, RMF, SMF, and JES2/JES3
