We are seeking an experienced Services Conversion Developer with strong expertise in RESTful services and .NET technologies to support a critical FICS Upgrade project. The ideal candidate will play a key role in converting legacy services into modern REST-based APIs and contributing to the successful delivery of the upgrade initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing legacy services and design strategies for conversion to RESTful APIs
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable REST services using .NET technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
- Participate in the FICS upgrade process, ensuring minimal disruption and high performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during development and deployment phases
- Maintain clear documentation for all developed services and processes
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, Web API)
- Proven expertise in designing and developing RESTful services
- Experience with service migration or legacy system modernization
- Good understanding of API security, performance optimization, and best practices
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with FICS or similar financial/insurance systems
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Experience working in onsite client environments
