Role: Cloud Migration Engineer / .NET Application Migration Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the migration of a .NET-based application from AWS to Microsoft Azure
  • Design, plan, and execute cloud migration activities ensuring minimal downtime and risk
  • Manage and support hybrid connectivity between AWS and Azure using ExpressRoute
  • Support Kafka-based messaging architecture during and post-migration
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Datadog
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve migration-related issues
  • Ensure security, scalability, and performance best practices are followed
  • Provide clear technical documentation and regular status updates to stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure; Proven experience in AWS to Azure cloud migrations; Experience setting up and managing Azure ExpressRoute
  • Application & Middleware: Strong experience with .NET applications; Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (design, integration, or operations); Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architectures
  • Monitoring & Tools: Experience using Datadog for application and infrastructure monitoring; Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
