Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with strong Avaloq Banking experience to lead testing activities across a major banking transformation programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the test strategy, managing SIT/UAT phases, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring quality delivery across Avaloq-based banking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the end-to-end Test Strategy for Avaloq projects.
- Manage all testing phases including SIT, UAT, Regression, End-to-End, and Release Testing.
- Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Business Users.
- Lead defect management, triage sessions, and quality governance activities.
- Ensure testing coverage across Avaloq modules and banking processes.
- Manage test environments, test data, and release readiness activities.
- Provide regular reporting on testing progress, risks, issues, and quality metrics.
- Support production releases and post-go-live validation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of Test Management experience within Banking or Financial Services.
- Strong hands-on experience working on Avaloq Core Banking Platform projects.
- Proven experience managing SIT, UAT, and End-to-End testing.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, payments, accounts, and wealth management processes.
- Experience with defect management and test management tools such as Jira, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and distributed teams.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
- Avaloq implementation, migration, or upgrade experience.
- Exposure to Wealth Management and Private Banking domains.
- SQL/Data Validation experience.
