Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SI AVP-level Business Analyst to support the BPI β Issuing ARIC Migration Programme, a strategically important and business-critical transformation initiative.
The programme involves the migration from the existing TRIAD platform to ARIC, impacting core business processes, controls, decision-making, governance, customer outcomes and regulatory obligations. The role will provide dedicated business analysis capability to ensure requirements are clearly defined, stakeholders are effectively managed, and programme deliverables progress in a controlled and efficient manner.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, programme leadership and third-party partners to support the migration and the development of the co-dependent Issuing/Acquiring ARIC platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities across the BPI Issuing ARIC Migration programme.
- Elicit, analyse, document and manage complex business and functional requirements.
- Understand and document current-state and future-state business processes.
- Identify impacts of the ARIC migration across business processes, controls, governance and customer journeys.
- Work closely with senior business, technology, risk, compliance and operational stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and requirements-gathering sessions with key stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements and actionable outcomes.
- Develop process maps, business requirements documents, user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting analysis.
- Identify dependencies, risks, assumptions and impacts associated with the migration.
- Support programme governance, delivery planning and decision-making through high-quality analysis.
- Work with technology and delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood and appropriately delivered.
- Support testing, business readiness, implementation and transition activities.
- Ensure traceability between business requirements, solution design, testing and delivery outcomes.
- Support the identification and mitigation of operational, regulatory and customer-impact risks.
- Coordinate with third-party platform providers and internal teams where required.
- Contribute to migration planning, data/process impact assessments and implementation readiness.
- Provide clear and concise updates to senior stakeholders and programme leadership.
- Proactively identify issues, gaps and opportunities for improvement throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Significant experience working as a Senior Business Analyst / AVP-level Business Analyst within complex transformation programmes.
- Strong experience in banking, financial services, payments, cards or issuing/acquiring environments.
- Proven experience delivering business analysis within large-scale technology or platform migration programmes.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, requirements management and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working across complex business processes, controls, governance and regulatory environments.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with senior business stakeholders, technology teams and third-party suppliers.

- Experience with card issuing/acquiring platforms.
- Experience with ARIC or similar fraud, risk, decisioning or financial services platforms.
- Experience with TRIAD or legacy platform migration programmes.
- Experience of platform replacement, decommissioning or end-of-support programmes.
- Knowledge of fraud, risk, credit decisioning or customer decisioning processes.
- Experience working with regulatory change and control-related initiatives.
- Experience working with third-party technology vendors and strategic platform partners.

The role is particularly important due to the time-critical nature of the migration, with the existing TRIAD platform reaching end of support in Q3 2027. The programme also supports the creation of the co-dependent Issuing/Acquiring ARIC platform, making effective business analysis critical to managing delivery dependencies, avoiding stranded costs and ensuring business readiness.
Working Arrangement: Northampton β Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite.
