Architect - Data Observability

Role: Architect – Data Observability

Location: LEEDS UK (Hybrid 2-3 days per week onsite)

• Architect – Data Observability: UK – 10+ years

· Should be well versed with modern observability tools and standards on both cloud and non-cloud hosting platforms.

· Particularly familiarization with Open Telemetry around how to best ingest and display metrics, logs and traces would be essential.

· Open Search, Grafana, Promethus, oTel, Splunk, experience

· Experience of building monitoring for OS (Linux and windows), K8, DBs, APIs, Applications and microservices

· Good design and documentation skills to ensure any framework can be successfully implemented and supported.

· The ability to communicate and sell the overall observability strategy to a wide audience.

· But also, being able to get down in the weeds to explain what\’s required technically.

· Knowledge on Data Obs tools (ADOC, Monte Carlo etc)

· Knowledge of Data governance framework and tools (Collibra, DQ solutions, Data Engineering, pipelines etc)
