At N-Compass, we're passionate about ensuring Young Carers are recognised, supported and empowered to achieve their full potential.

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Young Carers Practitioner to join our Staffordshire Together for Carers Service and help make that happen.

This role works primarily in the community directly with Young Carers, families, schools and community partners across Staffordshire County and as such a full UK driving licence and vehicle to use for work are essential, as well as flexibility to meet young people outside of school hours.

In addition, you will have regular team working with colleagues and the flexibility to work from home.

No two days are the same.

You could be delivering one-to-one support, running peer support groups, visiting schools to raise awareness, attending multi-agency meetings, or helping families access the support they need.

Experience of supporting young people would be advantageous, but not essential as we have a fabulous learning Carers; Children; Young Carers; Staffordshire; Cannock; Lichfield; Burton upon Trent; Unpaid Carer; Support worker; Social Worker; Local Authority, Mental Health; charity; third sector JBRP1_UKTJ
