Carers Information & Support Officer (Ethnic Minority Communities)
Location: Rochdale
Help Us Reach, Support and Empower Carers in Diverse Communities
At N-Compass, we believe every unpaid carer deserves access to the right support, information and opportunities, regardless of their background, language or circumstances.
We're looking for a passionate and community-focused Carers Information & Support Officer to work with carers from ethnic minority communities across Rochdale. This is a rewarding opportunity to reduce barriers to support, build trust within communities and help carers access the services they need to thrive.
About the Role
As a Carers Information & Support Officer, you'll proactively engage with carers, many of whom may be hidden or unaware of the support available to them. You'll provide information, advice and practical guidance, helping carers understand their rights, access services and connect with local support networks.
You'll build strong relationships with community groups, faith organisations and local partners, delivering outreach activities that encourage carers to seek support and improve their wellbeing. Every day brings the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of carers and their families.
Who We're Looking For
We're interested in people who are compassionate, culturally aware and committed to supporting diverse communities.
You may have experience in health, social care, community development, advice services or the voluntary sector. Equally, we welcome applicants with transferable skills and lived experience who can build trust, communicate effectively and inspire confidence.
