Multiple opportunities available across Lancashire. Full-Time (37 hours a week) and 2 Part-Time Positions (22.5 and 22.5 hours per week).

No experience supporting carers? No problem. We're looking for people with empathy, excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help others. Experience in health and social care, support work, housing, mental health services, customer service, community services, education, charity or voluntary sector roles may provide valuable transferable skills. Full training and support will be provided.
Could you help carers access the support they need? As a Carers Assessment & Support Advisor, you'll work directly with unpaid carers across Lancashire, helping them understand their rights, complete carers assessments, access support services and improve their wellbeing. You'll also provide specialist support to carers of people affected by mental health conditions.
You'll be:
- Supporting carers through person-centred conversations and assessments
- Helping carers access support, services and community resources
- Providing information, advice and guidance about carers' rights
- Developing support plans and contingency plans
- Working alongside health, social care and community organisations across Lancashire
