We have a vacancy for a Carers Engagement Co-ordinator with our Bury Team, which is a new and exciting role aimed at building a community network in Bury to create genuine opportunities for carers to influence local services and policy.
This role would be great for you if you are interested in:
- Facilitating engagement events and focus groups
- Developing and support Carer forums
- Gathering and acting on feedback from Carers
- Supporting co-production activities that drive real change
This is a true hybrid role, which requires working in the community, so a driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, plus team working with colleagues in our centrally based office and the flexibility of some home working.
What we're looking for
You're an organised, approachable communicator who is passionate about participation and inclusion. Your background may come from community development, engagement, health and social care, or the voluntary sector, but most importantly you will have the ability to confidently connect with people, encourage involvement and turn feedback into meaningful action.
