As a Carers Information & Support Officer, you'll be a trusted source of support, guidance and encouragement for unpaid Carers. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You could be meeting with a Carer in their local community, helping them develop a support plan, facilitating a support group, delivering Carer awareness sessions, or connecting people with services that can make life a little easier.
You'll help Carers to:
- Access information, advice and practical support
- Connect with local services, community resources and peer support
- Navigate health, social care and statutory services
- Develop contingency and future care plans
- Improve their wellbeing and resilience whilst continuing in their caring role
- Feel recognised, valued and less alone

- An Enhanced DBS check (required for the successful applicant)
