N-Compass is looking for a compassionate and motivated Well-being Support Officer to join our friendly Knowsley team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to provide face-to-face support to unpaid carers across Knowsley
As a Well-being Support Officer, you will provide practical support to unpaid carers, helping them access information, services and opportunities that improve their wellbeing and help them feel more confident in their caring role.
What You'll Do
- Provide information, advice and guidance to unpaid carers
- Hold person-centred conversations and identify individual needs
- Connect carers with local services, community resources and support networks
- Support carers to improve their wellbeing, confidence and resilience
- Build positive relationships with carers, partners and community organisations
- Promote our services through community engagement and outreach
- Maintain accurate records and monitor outcomes
What We're Looking For
You do not need direct experience of supporting carers.
We welcome applicants with transferable skills gained through health and social care, customer service, education, community work, volunteering or personal caring experience.
Most importantly, you'll be
