Carers Voice Co-ordinator
Hours: Part time, 18.5 hours per week
Do you believe Carers should have a genuine voice in shaping the services they use? Are you passionate about bringing people together, listening to lived experience and turning insight into meaningful action?
At n-compass, we create services with people, not simply for them. We’re looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Carers Voice Co-ordinator to ensure unpaid Carers across Bury are at the heart of service development, decision-making and positive change.
In this rewarding role, you’ll build trusted relationships with Carers and create welcoming opportunities for them to share their experiences. You’ll facilitate engagement events and focus groups, develop Carer forums, gather feedback and support co-production activities that influence local services and policies—making sure Carers’ voices are heard where they matter most.
You’ll be an excellent communicator who is organised, approachable and passionate about participation and inclusion. Your experience may come from community development, engagement, health and social care or the voluntary sector. If you can connect with people, encourage involvement and turn feedback into action, we’d love to hear from you.
We are a values-led charity built on kindness, collaboration, innovation and a commitment to making a real difference. Our supportive culture encourages colleagues to be themselves, share ideas, develop their skills and contribute to meaningful change.
In return, you’ll join an organisation recognised as a Great Place to Work, with a strong focus on wellbeing, learning and development, flexibility and employee support. This is a genuinely hybrid role, combining an office base in central Bury with some home working and community-based engagement across the area.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work are essential, as the role involves travel across Bury. You will also need some flexibility to work occasionally outside Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
Ready to use your skills to make a meaningful difference? Apply today—we’d be delighted to hear from you.
An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this role.
If you need any reasonable adjustments to take part in our recruitment and selection process, please contact the People Services team using the details on our website.
