Adult Carer Support Co-ordinator

Make a difference to unpaid carers every day.

Are you passionate about supporting people in your community? We're looking for a compassionate and proactive Adult Carer Support Co-ordinator to help unpaid carers access the information, guidance, and support they need to maintain their wellbeing and continue in their caring role.

About the Role

As an Adult Carer Support Co-ordinator, you will work directly with adult carers across the community, helping them access support, navigate services, and connect with opportunities that improve their wellbeing. You will build strong relationships with carers, professionals, and community organisations, ensuring carers receive the support they need while promoting their rights and independence.

You will identify and engage with unpaid carers, including those who may not currently be accessing support. Through person-centred conversations and assessments, you will help carers understand their options, develop support plans, and access services, peer support networks, training, and short break opportunities.

You will also play an active role in delivering community outreach, facilitating support groups and events, raising awareness of carers' needs, and working collaboratively with local partners to improve outcomes for carers and the people they care for.

Experience is advantageous but not essential as we have a fabulous learning and development offer to support your personal growth. More importantly, we are looking for people who share our commitment to improving the lives of others. In return for this, we can offer:

  • A Great Place to Work
  • Regular team-building and connectivity
  • Learning and development individual to you
  • High focus on your safety and well-being
  • Open and inclusive culture, where people matter most, always
  • A rewarding and satisfying role

Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Please send your application through as soon as possible, as applications will be shortlisted upon receipt, which may result in closing the vacancy sooner than the advertised closing date. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 5th August 2026.
