We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Logistics team! As a Team Leader for N Brown, you will work to effectively manage operational processes, resources, and colleagues within our Logistics operation. You will provide an excellent customer experience for all of our internal and external customers within agreed objectives and SLAs and drive change through a continuous improvement culture. We are looking for people who are passionate about leading others and you will be a role model for our core behaviours and a true advocate for our culture!

Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off. Your working hours will be 1:30pm to 1am.

Location: Our Logistics hub is located in Shaw, Oldham. It can be easily accessed via Tram which is just a few minutes walk away and we also offer free car parking for anyone who wishes to drive to the site.

Responsibilities:

  • You will lead, support, motivate, train, and develop the Logistics Operational colleagues in your team to ensure our Logistics Operational objectives are met.
  • You will accurately log colleague time and attendance and ensure all colleagues' absence is managed in line with N Brown policy.
  • You will ensure that delivery of all Health & Safety measures and housekeeping requirements are maintained and ensure there is a safe and clean environment for all colleagues and visitors on the Logistics sites.
  • You will work to achieve production and compliance targets and SLAs while making sure that we are using the most cost-effective use of resources and services.
  • You will respond to adjustments in production plans and assign resources where needed.
  • You will deliver the departmental budgets through effective manpower, planning, and performance management.
  • You will review performance and quality for your area of responsibility and provide weekly cost analysis.
  • You will review and respond to direction to investigate trends in MI.
  • You will be flexible with start/finish times of shifts in order to plan the day and provide accurate details for handovers for colleagues and be open to support business needs with flexibility of overtime when required.
  • You will be multiskilled to manage several departments outside of your main department.
  • You will identify process improvements and support implementation through the use of lean six sigma methodology to ensure the logistics operation is efficient and flexible to meet our customer demands.
