Role Overview

The Junior Buyer role reports to the Senior Buyer and works across our Mens Brands & Sportswear categories. The role focuses on delivering commercially sound, customer‑centric ranges and supports the wider merchandising, design and sourcing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customer‑centric ranges with the team.
  • Manage external relationships with 3rd‑party partners across Mens Brands & Sportswear.
  • Onboard new brands and negotiate terms.
  • Take responsibility for critical path management.
  • Develop and motivate BAA’s under the guidance of the Senior Buyer.
  • Plan and build ranges/brands, present at strategy meetings and obtain senior sign‑off.
  • Review weekly sales, analyse best and worst sellers and recommend actions.
  • Monitor market and customer activity through competitive shops, sales and trend analysis.
  • Attend buying meetings, leading them in the Senior Buyer’s absence.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business including Trade, Marketing and Studio.

  • Established Junior Buyer experience, confident to work independently once settled.
  • Excellent administrative, communication and organisation skills.
  • Self‑motivated, resilient, collaborative and able to influence at all levels.
  • Confident decision maker with strong commercial judgement.
  • Solid understanding of market trends, competitor activity and price architecture.
  • Customer‑obsessed, putting them at the heart of decision making.
  • Keen interest in the Menswear and Sportswear markets.
  • Driven and motivated.
  • Online retail experience essential.
