We’re looking for a Financial Services Marketing and Product Communications Lead to join our Financial Services Team at an exciting time as we move to launch our new Financial Services Platform and Brand.
You will create and deliver inspirational and engaging content for all customer touchpoints, ensuring it is consistent, on brand, and with appropriate tone of voice. Working with the team you will be delivering exceptional customer experience and maximising customer understanding, customer conversion and ongoing engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in creating communications and has a flare for designing eye catching content with a high attention to detail and perfect for someone ready to step up into their first Lead role, where they will own and deliver communications plans directed at both customers and internal stakeholders to drive brand awareness and excitement.
What will you do as a Financial Services Marketing and Product Communications Lead at N Brown?
Marketing Communications
- Demonstrate creativity in developing innovative marketing strategies and materials that captivate our target audience and effectively communicate our brand\’s unique value propositions.
- Develop an engaging and data led comms strategy for the launch of new FS Platform across N Brown retail brands.
- Support the customer research and development of messaging, ensuring onsite journeys are optimised ahead of the launch to customers.
- Manage the end-to-end creation and deployment of targeted and personalised engaging CRM campaigns.
Product Service Communications
- Support the planning and co-ordination of required transactional and service communications across all channels in readiness for colleague and customer launch.
- Lead the creation of all new marketing transactional and service communications across all channels. Create, brief and sign off the product and marketing content ensuring communications are consistent and on brand and with appropriate TOV.
FS Product Governance
- Understand the requirements of Consumer Duty and ensure they are being achieved across all customer touchpoints.
- Support in the completion of the annual Consumer Duty Attestation and Credit Product Review.
- Understand the need for compliance with FS regulations and support the necessary governance to ensure these are being met.
Website Communications
- Create inspiring and engaging content for the launch of the new website covering the homepage, transactional site pages, and customer support pages.
- Ensure consistency of messaging, branding and customer experience across all customer touchpoints.
- Be an ambassador for the brand, embracing the proposition and values and championing the brand internally.
What skills and experience will you have?
- Experience of working on creating regulatory compliant, inspiring content on a Financial Services Brand.
- You should have experience in email delivery platforms (such as Responsys) and email best practice including dynamic content.
- Proficiency in managing HTML content.
- Experience of using or creating content for a CMS (e.g. Amplience) to build/publish engaging content targeted at the right customer audience.
- An understanding of building comms and relevant targeting in a communications platform system.
- Good team working skills and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels is essential.
- Good understanding of customer targeting, including working with others to select the desired segments.
- Experience of interpreting, analysing & understanding data.
- Knowledge of the regulatory requirements associated with an FS business.
- Demonstrate the use of initiative in their day to day work.
- Excellent communication skills and be confident presenting to groups and senior leadership.

Ways of Working
We offer hybrid working which varies across the business depending on the role you’re in. Our Head Office is located in the Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre. So if you are travelling by train, tram or bus we’re perfectly located, plus we’re surrounded by cool cafés, trendy bars and the best places to eat!
Our working hours are 36.17 per week and our core working hours are between 10am – 4pm. Given we don’t have strict working hours you can find the working pattern that’s right for you.
