As a Responsible Sourcing Lead you will support our global sourcing strategy delivering best in class suppliers and maximising data enabling the buying and merchandising teams to improve their KPI’s.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Responsible Sourcing Manager to lead and drive our business-wide sourcing strategy. This role will involve collaborating with key internal stakeholders to build a future-focused supplier strategy, while developing commercial, technical, and ethical objectives over short, medium, and long-term timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the business-wide sourcing strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create a forward-thinking supplier strategy, addressing commercial, technical, and ethical goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, acting as the central point of contact within the business for supplier communications.
  • Identify sourcing opportunities across the business, leveraging existing and new supplier relationships to introduce new products.
  • Oversee the entire supplier onboarding process, ensuring ethical audits and responsible practices are adhered to.
  • Drive and expand the supplier management processes, regularly reporting progress to both internal and external stakeholders, and using data and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with teams across the business to address and resolve supplier-related issues promptly.
  • Manage collaboration with suppliers on cross-costing initiatives, helping support the BIM targets.
  • Responsible for communicating global macro changes from suppliers to the wider business.
  • Ensures that the risk profile of the Sourcing department is managed and KRI’s are tracked.
  • Attend Sourcing Fairs/ Trade Fairs and providing feedback to the wider business.
  • Previous experience in managing a small team is preferred.
  • Confident in leading meetings and presenting to senior management.

Ways of Working

  • We offer hybrid working which varies across the business depending on the role you’re in. Our Head Office is located in the Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre. So if you are travelling by train, tram or bus we’re perfectly located, plus we’re surrounded by cool cafes, trendy bars and the best places to eat!
  • Our full-time working hours are 36.17 per week over 5-days. We don’t have strict working hours therefore there is some flexibility around start and finish times as long as you are meeting the needs of the business.
