We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to join our People team. This is a 12 month FTC to cover Supply Chain, Legal Services and Internal Audit and support on our Digital Tech recruitment where required. This role will be based in our Northern Quarter Head office but there will be a requirement to travel to our offices in Shaw, Oldham on a weekly basis.
As a Talent Acquisition Lead at N Brown you’ll be passionate about bringing our brands to life, understanding and translating our values by sourcing potential candidates via a variety of platforms in a highly competitive sector and bringing a fresh approach to candidate attraction for N Brown Group. You’ll be enthusiastic, an innovative communicator and able to appeal to the various talent groups. It goes without saying that you’ll be hands‑on with day‑to‑day recruitment and selection and will enjoy working with, and coaching, a wide variety of internal stakeholders and team colleagues to ensure we get the right talent for each business area. What will you do as a Talent Acquisition Lead at N Brown?
- Working as a strategic and trusted business partner to internal stakeholders
- Contributing to the development of the talent acquisition team’s skills, knowledge and behaviours and being a subject matter expert for all things recruitment related
- Coaching or influencing hiring managers or key stakeholders in the enterprise to make the right hiring decision
- Understanding and use of AI within the recruitment process
- Screening, interviewing and assessing potential colleagues for a variety of areas of our business and at all levels
- Attending or creating networking events to enhance your knowledge and attract future talent
- Engaging with and developing relationships with external partners
- Collaborate and work with additional areas of the People Team such as Business Partners, L&D, Internal Comms and People Shared Services
- Pitching to the team or senior stakeholders your insights/ideas for attracting the best talent to our business
- Analysing and informing data to provide insight and influence strategy decisions focused on EDI&B, and internal career progression and opportunity.
What skills and experience will you have?
- You will have worked as an internal or agency recruiter and be familiar with attracting candidates/customers through various channels, and already have an extensive network of connections and understanding of these areas
- You will be a creative writer and social media savvy; you will be familiar with using platforms such as LinkedIn to build connections/pipelines of potential applicants
- You will be a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and follow through on action plans.
- You will be a skilled negotiator with excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- You will have gravitas to work with and influence at all levels of management
- You will have excellent project management, writing and oral communication skills
- You will have the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment

Ways of Working
We offer hybrid working which varies across the business depending on the role you’re in. Our Head Office is in the Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre. So, if you are travelling by train, tram or bus we’re perfectly located, plus we’re surrounded by cool cafés, trendy bars and the best places to eat! Our working hours are 36.17 per week and our core working hours are between 10am – 4pm. Given we don’t have strict working hours you can find the working pattern that’s right for you.
