We are looking for a technically strong, customer-facing Technical Solutions Manager focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will translate customer requirements into compliant, cost-effective system designs, supporting projects end-to-end from enquiry through delivery. You will also play a hands-on role in product launch, helping shape the go-to-market technical package and ensuring the offer is deployable from day one.
Job Responsibilities
- Review customer requirements and design solutions covering BESS, PCS, and EMS.
- Assess technical feasibility and optimise system performance, cost, and compliance.
- Produce clear technical deliverables: specifications, schematics, configurations, and BoM inputs.
- Prepare and submit bid packages and proposals aligned with regulatory and customer standards.
- Partner with Sales, Project Management, and R&D to align solutions with project scope and timelines.
- Act as the technical lead with customers across pre-sales, proposal, and implementation phases.
- Support product launch readiness by developing technical collateral (datasheets, application notes, standard configurations), defining reference architectures, and feeding market requirements back into the product roadmap.
- Help develop tools, templates, and methods to improve solution speed and quality.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or related discipline.
- Proven ability to produce technical documentation, schematics, and tender/bid materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Clear communicator, able to explain technical topics to mixed audiences.
- Solid understanding of battery systems, PCS, grid integration, and EMS (preferred).
- Familiarity with system design and simulation tools (preferred).
