My leading financial services client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Protection Sales to lead their team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in building and managing high-performing sales teams, specifically in the financial services industry.
You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, establishing training and development programs, and implementing efficient processes to drive sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and support the sales team to achieve targets and revenue goals.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase conversion rates and drive business growth.
- Build and expand a sales team of 40+ professionals through effective recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Establish a robust training and development infrastructure, including sales training, coaching, and performance management.
- Implement efficient processes and procedures for streamlined sales operations and compliance.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity within the sales team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitors to drive competitive advantage.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, lenders, and partners to maximize business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in building and leading telephony sales teams of 30+ sales professionals in the financial services industry.
- Track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies for revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and people management skills to inspire and mentor a large sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building and collaboration.
- Experience in implementing training, coaching, and performance management programs.
- Ability to establish effective sales processes, procedures, and performance metrics.
