As an experienced DevOps Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of innovation, architecting and optimising the cloud infrastructure that powers their proprietary CRM platform. Your Exciting Mission:
- Design and implement groundbreaking platform services that fuel product development and feature expansion
- Master and enhance CI/CD pipelines to supercharge development across multiple internal projects
- Optimise cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) to deliver unmatched performance, scalability, and security
- Configure and manage AWS Connect contact centre solutions to enhance customer communication capabilities
- Transform routine tasks through automation, dramatically improving system efficiency
- Leverage cutting-edge monitoring tools including Grafana, CloudWatch, and DataDog to ensure peak system performance
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges across development, testing, and production environments
- Implement fortress-like security practices across all infrastructure and services
- Collaborate with brilliant development teams to build robust, high-performance environments
- Drive innovation by staying ahead of emerging technologies and implementing creative solutions
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or in a related role
- Proficient with Unix operating system administration
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI etc.
- Proficiency with containerisation technologies specifically Docker, Amazon ECS and ECR
- Excellent understanding of cloud platforms (specifically AWS) including services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, OpenSearch, ElastiCache etc.
- Extensive experience with AWS Connect for contact centre solutions, call routing, and customer communication workflows
- Extensive relational database knowledge (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB), as well as NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Experience with search (e.g. Elasticsearch) and caching (e.g. Redis) technologies
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform
- Strong understanding of networking (VPCs, SGs etc), firewalls, VPN, and DNS
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Sentry, Grafana and CloudWatch
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. GitLab) and best practices for branching, merging, and versioning
- Extensive coding experience using Python, Javascript, Bash and PHP
Bonus Points:
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect etc.)
- Experience with automated testing and code quality tools
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and related services
- Advanced AWS Connect certifications and experience with Kinesis integration
- Experience with contact centre analytics and reporting tools
