A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Administrator to join a thriving UK hotel Group employing circa 500 employees, across 8+ hotels nationally, headquartered in Bournemouth. Working within a small finance team, reporting to the Senior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This role is critical in ensuring our valued employees are paid correctly and on time, while maintaining full compliance with all relevant legislation.
Requirements
- Process end-to-end payroll for approximately 500 employees on fortnightly and monthly pay cycles.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including new starters, leavers, changes to pay rates, and leave balances.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation, agreements, and company policies.
- Manage payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
- Accurately process leave entitlements, allowances, bonuses, and deductions.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy between systems.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Payroll Administrator or similar role.
- CIPP qualification is highly desirable.
- Strong hands-on experience with a managed payroll system (experience with Employment Hero would be advantageous).
- Sound knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
