Cripps are looking for a Receptionist to join our Workplace team. This is a key front-of-house role, ensuring a polished, welcoming and efficient experience for all visitors and clients. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong client or customer service skills, representing the firm professionally at all times. This is a multi-site position: based in Tunbridge Wells on Mondays and Fridays, with regular travel to London and Horsham Tuesday to Thursday (a minimum of twice per month). Travel expenses will be paid for any travel to London or Horsham.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a consistently high standard of service to all visitors and clients.
- Maintain a tidy, professional reception, waiting area and meeting rooms.
- Answer, screen and direct incoming calls through the switchboard.
- Manage online bookings for meeting rooms and parking spaces.
- Monitor and triage enquiries via the “contacts” inbox.
- Log visitor arrivals/departures and manage security passes.
- Support the training of reception team members.
- Travel between offices to provide cover as needed.
- Carry out post scanning, quality checks, reprographics support and general admin tasks.
- Monitor stock levels and order supplies when required.
- Some light administrative tasks.
WORKING HOURS
Reception operates 08:00–18:00. The team works together to ensure full coverage. Shift pattern - 8.30am-5.30pm or 9-6pm.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience
- Experience within a customer services role.
- Confident liaising with clients, partners and colleagues at all levels.
- Able to work independently, manage priorities and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word.
