At Morrisons we're proud to produce high quality meat products for our customers in store and our external partners. As a Manufacturing Key Operative - Curing, you'll move and pack products in the curing department or warehouse to make sure products are produced in a safe, efficient and hygienic manner. Tasks could include making brines according to a recipe, scanning and wrapping, doing stock checks and using Oracle, and a Fork Lift Truck where required. You'll also use a PC for some of the data entry, systems maintenance and stock transacting. Following training in food safety and health and safety is essential.

About you

You'll be the kind of person who:

  • Is able to work in a food production environment and in the presence of raw meat
  • Can work in chilled temperatures between 2-9 degrees, and in a noisy environment where hearing protection must be worn
  • Is able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain concentration when undertaking repetitive work
  • Physically able to lift up to 25kg up to a height of 1.7m
  • Can complete and comply with relevant business and site policies such as Health and Safety and Food Safety
