As a Manufacturing Key Operative – Quality Controller you’ll make routine checks on products and packaging to ensure they meet food safety and legality standards. You’ll use relevant systems to record information, demonstrate traceability and due diligence on behalf of the site and company, and will escal any non‑conformances to prevent product withdrawals or recalls.

Temperature probing, swabbing, weight and size checks are part of your routine, and you will work towards minimising and preventing any loss of sales or profit while continuously meeting customer requirements.

About you

Previous manufacturing and food handling experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be given.

  • Loves working as part of a team
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
  • Is happy in an active role and has a good level of fitness
  • Is able to work in varying temperatures of around 8 degrees and below (we provide full protective clothing)
  • Takes pride in completing tasks to the best of your ability

Desired Experience

  • Quality Control and understanding of product allergens
  • Food Safety Level 2 and/or HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) Level 2
