Our Manufacturing Managers know how to work at pace and regardless of which department they work in they all have the same goal - to deliver great food to our customers. We are looking for a versatile leader to step into a dual-stream position that bridges the gap between Warehouse/Logistics and Operations Management. It's fast and ever-changing - are you up for the challenge?

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a large team to successfully deliver your lines KPI's and drive business performance
  • Responsible for inbound, pick and outbound operations
  • Managing Oracle for purchasing, inventory, work in process, and order management transactions
  • You will coach, develop and lead your staff and establish a continuous improvement culture
  • You will work closely with internal and external suppliers and will build strong, effective relationships ensuring that the site is legally compliant
  • Working alongside the Production leadership teams to ensure a smooth and slick operation across the site, moving seamlessly between manufacturing processes and logistics flow

Qualifications:

  • Experience of a Warehouse, Logistics or Transport Management or equivalent
  • Experience in a large scale production/warehouse operation, ideally across Food Manufacturing
  • Horticultural knowledge would be advantageous
  • The ability to coach and encourage your team and help them explore opportunities to continuously improve how they do their job
  • The ability to problem solve, and implement process changes in order to improve operational performance
  • Experience of managing budgets and controlling costs with a strong background of managing financial data
  • The ability to engage and motivate large, diverse teams with varying skill sets across different departments
  • A background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement would also be great for this role
  • Experience in Oracle Management is essential
